January 27, 2008 - Reverend Keith Zeh
Reverend Zeh was ordained in 1982 at Calvary Lutheran Church, Las Vegas, NV and has served at Calvary Lutheran Church - Bemidji, MN (1982-1991); American Lutheran Church - Windom, MN (1991-1995); Mission Director for Evangelical Outreach & Congregational Mission Unit - ELCA, Region 3 (1995 - present)
Reverend Way grew up as part of the Calvary congregation. She was ordained on August 4, 2001 at Calvary Lutheran Church, Bemidji, MN and served as the Associate Pastor of Trinity Lutheran
Church in Princeton MN. She began a call as Associate Pastor of First Lutheran Church of White Bear Lake, MN on April 27th, 2008.
Rev. Dave Peterson is Worship and Administration leader at First Lutheran in Detroit
Lakes MN. He came to First Lutheran in 1993. Under Pastor Dave’s leadership First
Lutheran has become a church that lives out its mission to "Open Doors to Life in
Christ" by encouraging, supporting, leading, directing, and coaching those who have
been given the vision and passion for each of the ministries we do in the name of Jesus.
Prior to moving to Detroit Lake, he served Bethlehem Lutheran Church in
Brainerd, Minnesota for 9+ years. Rev. Dave served at Calvary Lutheran as Youth
Director in the late 1970’s. He received his M.Div from Wartburg Theological Seminary,
Dubuque IA. In addition to leading the ministry of First Lutheran, Pastor Dave
enjoys being with his family, playing the tuba, scuba diving, golf, biking, camping,
woodworking...and the like!!

June 22, 2008 - Pastor Luther Abrahamson
Former Calvary pastor Luther Abrahamson currently resides in Sun City AZ
with his wife, Marilyn. He has 4 children and 8 grandchildren. Luther is currently a
Chaplain at a 500 member adult senior community, conducting 3 worship services
each Sunday, with bible studies and grief support groups. He enjoys gardening, music,
travel and writing.
July 26, 2008 - Reverend Greg Isaacson
Pr. Greg lives in Woodbury with his wife Kristen. He has one child. Pr. Greg
served at Calvary Lutheran from 2000 - 2004. He is currently serving Memorial
Lutheran Church in Afton MN.
Larry attended Luther Seminary of St. Paul, 1977-81. He was
ordained July 5, 1981 (in the American Lutheran Church) at Jackson Lake
Lutheran Church of Amboy, Minnesota.
The Southwestern Minnesota Synod ELCA called him to serve as an
assistant to the bishop from 1991 to 2003. In 2003 he moved to Moorhead,
MN, to accept a call as senior pastor at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Larry
was elected bishop of the Northwestern Minnesota Synod on June 10, 2007.
Larry has also served the church as Book Review Editor for Lutheran
Partners magazine and has written articles for Word and World (Luther Seminary),
Congregations (Alban Institute), and The Rose. He also authored two
confirmation ministry curriculum pieces for Augsburg Fortress Publishing House
in the 1990s.
Larry and Joy enjoy spending time with family members, reading, hiking,
traveling, gardening, and trying to keep up with the intriguing lives of their young
adult kids.
Rev. John Heruth was guest preacher Sunday, August 10. He lives in Rochester MN with his wife Christine. He has 6 children and 8 grandchildren (and still counting!). He served as pastor at Calvary Lutheran Church from 1992 - 1999. He retired in 2006.
Reverend Dan Heath preached at both services at Calvary Lutheran Church on Sunday, August 17th as part of our continuing Centennial Celebration. Pr. Dan has two sons, Isaac & Levi. Pr. Dan served Calvary Lutheran Church from 1995-2001. He is currently pastor at Grace Lutheran Church in McGregor MN.
July 24, 2008 - Reverend Ted Berkland
Pastor Ted Berkland gave a greeting on Sunday, August 24th at both services. Ted was born in Hampden, ND. He was ordained in June, 1954. His first Parish was Nymore and Aardahl Lutheran Churches, beginning in July, 1954. He also served churches in Wisconsin from 1960 - 1980. He retired at Grantsburg, WI but served as an interim pastor at various churches for several years. Pastor Ted helped organize the Wild Rivers Habitat for Humanity in Burnett County, Wisconsin.
