Happy Anniversary Forward In Faith! - (January-2009)
Yes, it has been a year since we launched into our Forward in Faith capital campaign. And WOW do we have a lot to celebrate and be thankful for!
We would like to invite you to a special brunch and dedication ceremony of the new addition on Sunday, January 25th starting at 9:45 in the new multipurpose room. We will be serving pancakes, sausage, egg bake, juice and coffee.
At 10:00 we will join together to be a part of a brief dedication service and then each member is invited to go into each new room, where a candle will be lit and share in a prayer of blessing of that new space.
Also, we will be dedicating our new time capsule, adding items from our Centennial celebration, so that at the next anniversary it may be a gift to those who gather to celebrate. Bring your coins for the lighthouse and help us give thanks to God for blessing us with new space in order to Gather, Be Transformed and Sent out to serve in God’s name!
1st year Anniversary! - (December-2008)
What an exciting time in the life of Calvary Lutheran Church! Through years of dreaming, planning,
prayer and sacrifice, God has been faithful in providing us with a fabulous new facility. Yea, God! December marks
the first year anniversary of our three year Forward In Faith Capital Campaign. To date we have received $379,492 toward
our total commitment of $1,098,818.
The Forward In Faith Bridge Team, would like to express our sincere gratitude
to those who have committed themselves (either financially or through donated time, labor, supplies, etc) to the building
project. It's because of you and your commitment to Calvary and its Mission, that we are seeing our dream come true.
