Adventure Serve in Duluth
Middle School Youth will travel to Duluth for an Adventure Serve trip June 14-15 this summer. Kids will participate in a day of service and a day of fun and make some memories along the way. Cost for the trip is $300, which includes transportation, lodging, meals, admission, and adult leadership. It will be great experience aimed at giving youth an introduction to service and adventure as part of faith formation. Watch for more details as plans are finalized. Deposit $100 (everybody is invested)
We’ll make it possible for anyone to afford this trip. Scholarships for part of the funding are available.
Another houseboat trip
Senior High youth are heading out to sea (aka Rainy Lake) again this summer for a houseboat trip July 12-17. It’s like Bible camp on a boat with lots of swimming, relaxing, campfires, and good food, all in God’s creation with little to no technology available. We’ll unplug and create some lifelong memories. Cost fore the trip is $700 which includes the houseboat, food, transportation, t-shirt, adult leaders, and more. Space is limited, so register by February 1 to be part of the fun. Each year, Calvary Lutheran Church offers opportunities to travel together as groups to grow in faith, have tons of fun, and experience the life of the church outside the building.
